People who have houses that are older than 40 years are more likely to have acoustic ceiling tiles that look like wood panels an army of termites have had a feast on before moving on. These “popcorn-style” acoustic ceilings were all the rage during the days when insulation and the benefits it had on your electricity bill were not much of an issue.
