Home sales have declined as buyers are playing the waiting game in hopes of getting the right time (which would be when prices hit rock-bottom prices) for making their purchases. True to this, analysts are predicting that the housing market woes would have more far-reaching effects such as a slowdown in retail spending during the coming year which could affect the economy more inching it closer to a period of recession.
